This cute little orange flower can take your breath away when you see giant fields of them gently blowing in the breeze, sending their sweet candy like scent your way. They don’t always cover the desert floor in spring, often only a few clusters here and there. But there was one spring I will always remember when everywhere in the desert had fields and fields of the desert globemallow! 

It quickly became my favorite desert flower, and also realized I was not alone! This flower is loved by many from those who visit to those who live in the desert.
