2025 Zion Rope Art Collection
From March 6th to April 10th I was fortunate enough to be able to have my first ever solo show at River Rock Roasters in La Verkin, Utah just outside of Zion National Park! I was not expecting too many things to be taken from the walls and into new homes, but I was blown away by the turn out!
By March 10th, 10 pieces had already been purchased! Most of them from the Zion Collection but a few from previous years.
By March 12th an additional 7 pieces were sold 🤯! I had worked from December 2024 up until March to make 17 new pieces, and had 20 other rope art, watercolor and photography wokrs displayed alongside this collection. I had no additional art to display!! So I went back to work to create at least one more piece for the show.
I had hoped to create a few more for to show, but I was only able to make one, the Blooming Yucca, which sold within a week of putting on the walls. By this point I was so full of gratitude for everyones kind words and connection to the work I spent months creating, but my energy to create was out and I was transitioning into my summer seasonal position. So I had no more pieces to put on the walls.
Roughly two weeks into the show, so much had gone that the walls were bare and we moved my art to a smaller area and brought in another artist for the rest of the cafe! Completely blown away by the connection people have with my work and the rate they wanted it in their homes. This show certainly gave me a boost of confidence to keep creating ❤️ I'm so grateful for all the support people have given me and continue to do so. I really enjoy making art and hope you come along with me on my next art adventure!
